But although I am an avid horse racing follower, it really doesn't have as much mainstream appeal as some racing fans seem to think it has, so Sky have to factor that in, if they are thinking about making it a 'premium' channel

Up until recently, Apple have been dogmatic about this and kept all their products to their own devices, but the sands are shifting, it seems. How far Apple takes this remains to be seen, but I think a process has begun.
