In vms post they say lifestylehd is coming soon too, however i think this is a error and they infact meant lifetimehd as i think the current exclusive deal with Sky is up now MB should be able to confirm this.
The other channel i mentioned coming bY October isn't lifetimehd i will reveal more when i can, i have been told which channel it is but haven't been given the nod to disclose it yet.

And of course, BT give VM their sports channels free of charge, so the price rise will have nothing to do with extra premium sports channels added to XL ;):D

Its a bit like saying we will increase your broadband speed but here is a stealth price rise to go with it.

of course not but my point still very true prices go up every year no matter if any channels are added or not and that will not change one bit

Dave I have family who's bundle prices increased in February (the annual rise) by over £5 , they are now going to see a further £3 increase in the coming months if this info is correct.

VM feel with sports on their higher tier of tv they can get more customers. More customers equals a more successful business which equals a higher profit level. A higher profit level means in theory more investment into broadband and more budget for more services in television

I understand the frustration and anger of people who arent "sports fans" who feel theyre giving money for no reason (even tho bt sport europe isnt in xl tv at the moment) but in theory theyre trying to get more customers (as more customers means better prospects for services for us all)

I would strongly think that this new deal will also include AMC. VM would be crazy not negotiate for it with the fact they are giving us sports as part of XL. They know that sport does not appeal to everybody so giving AMC may offset some of the disgruntled non sports fans
