I couldn't see it either.

I'm sure that it'll be made clear about any recontract requirement at the time you actually have to make the choice to upgrade or not

I'm surprised the aren't adding the long talked about 200/20 package on top of the boosts and charge more for it.

I thought Virgin say extra speed for free with no extra charge but they lying again. I will cancel VM in my own rights if they did price rise again next February 2014 on my 120Mb

I've asked for confirmation behind the scenes. We'll see what they tell me.

Cheers

A VM staffer has said that the profile posted by TC doesn't line up with any of the planned downstream tiers. The staffer didn't say anything about the upstream symbol rate - something I was particularly interested in.

I'm headed for 152. Why are they not maintaining the 10:1 ratio? This sets a precedent.

Edit.............................................. .................................

This prediction was made in 2009. It looks like slippage to me. http://www.cable.co.uk/news/virgin-m...band-19091354/

I think that was TC doing some fiddling, trying to make it look like his symbol rate was doubled, when the figure he posted was missing a zero so was 5x smaller

What are you on about?

VM always announce package speeds. i.e. 60, 100, 120, 152.

The Max Traffic Rate will no doubt be inline with other tiers:

Code:

Tier  Max Traffic Rate    Speed test
100Mb        110Mb          105Mb
120Mb        133Mb          127Mb
152Mb        168Mb          160Mb

An extra 33Mb which looks not bad.
