In America it really does depend on the state by state. Not a single state that matters has been called yet so we simply don't know. Basically for this early part of the evening you want to see where Virginia and Florida go, they are expected to go to Romney. If Obama wins Virginia then life will be very difficult for Romney and it will be over if Obama then wins Ohio too. If Obama wins Florida then it's over pretty much. |
Re: US Election 2012

I can see this Jeremy Vine segment being on HIGNFY this week.

Re: US Election 2012
I am watching CNN, got bored with BBC when they kept explaining that the popular vote doesn't decide the election. CNN takes this knowledge as red and goes into depth about the places inside the state that may decide how the state falls...

Re: US Election 2012
Sky News here. Their saying exit poll results for Florida goes to Obama

---------- Post added at 01:29 ---------- Previous post was at 01:11 ---------- What is interesting is that the exit polls are showing a democratic lean in how voters identify themselves. This is important because the Republican contention was that the public polls that had Obama ahead were underestimating the Republican turnout and overestimating the Democratic turnout. We're not seeing that in the exit polls or the initial results... It's early so they may well prove correct but at the moment there isn't anything to contradict the public polling. |
Re: US Election 2012
CNN is the best to be following this.
