Thanks for the info, interesting stuff indeed. :)

Interesting but factually incorrect , Astra 1N was deployed to 28.2 E to offer interim capacity with a UK spot beam until Astra 2F is launched in Q4 2012 to replace it which will then see Astra 1N locate to 19.2 E. Anyway back to VM and what people want :D

Aren't Sky Sports F1 HD , TCM HD , Animal Planet HD already announced.
http://corporate.sky.com/documents/p...sentation_1011

Both companies will be keen to extend their HD offerings as the consumer seems to be demanding the superior format more and more.

how many hd channesl are on sky jsut now? about 55 so that room for abotu 10 with current capicty on teh sattiletes themself

and even if a channel is annouced unless it got a launch date then it means nothing, there beena few chanenslr ecently annocuing new channesl and then decide not to either because of the encomic climate or because or capicty problem on teh satillete themself

sky will still be launching new hd channesl i was merely pointing out that dnt expect loads any time soon there also more 4 hd which is to go onto astra n1 for fta and few others but that is it a few not laods not until end of 2013/2014 will we see sky surging ahead when tehre laods more capity up in the skys

astra 1n is giving extra capicty, where do i get my info for a extra 10, it is rough guess based on teh transponders available and ses astra have already said there is capity problems hence why 1n is there fora temporary mission to provide the extra capity foa temporay measure, but the extra transponder for 1n have bene rrented by most of the fta broadcaster to release more fta channels ie like channel 5 boquet and giving the likes of ch4 hd a better signal, of course the old transponders could be used but part of thereason for them switching was because the signal form eurobird isnt strong and 2d is at end of life and full

Thanks for clarifying that there is extra capacity with the arrival of Astra 1N ;) no issues then is there anyway as VM is cable lets get back to that ;)

Sky 3D would be last on a list of things l want as there are far more important must have channels then having a minority fad channel in my opinion.

The Brazilian channel 'Record' that Sky have, or even more if possible, though I presume I am the only one with this request!

Premiersports included in my package would be good.
