Thank you so in truth they have not added much but have increased prices far faster then adding new channels.

What the basic problem here is that VM are running a company, and they decide what they want to have, NOT the customer.

They want channels that ARE going to be watched, they know that customers are complaining about no existance of channels that want to be watched.

They do want channels on the cheap, purely to save them money, Sky are a business and not a charity, so cannot give channels away cheaply, VM don't like this, and this is why they had the aggro over the basic's, Its about time that VM board of directors put the customers first, as at the end of the day ITS US who pays the bill.

But perhaps you forgot to remember that prices have risen massively as well, of course things have improved since the NTL/TELEWEST days but you have to keep on improving and adding more channels as Sky will not stand still.

They will be Den if you keep adding services :D You subscribe to Sky Sports and Movies with premium HD so price increases here are down to Sky and not VM.

You've added services though :)

What I'm getting at, is the price per item hasn't gone up "massively", it's the fact of a £1 here and there, plus you've upgraded :)

Didn't BenMcr already advise you, that you'd be better off on a VIP bundle?

As i recall arthur the aggro over the basics also centred on the fact sky tried to get Living,Bravo off virgin on the cheap (carriage deal) citing the fact the channels were worthless whilst wanting top dollar for their own basic channels, sky of course have gone on to buy living from virgin media proving of course how worthless a channel it was.Of course in the basics dispute sky soon came back after much negotiaitng with a much more realistic offer for their basics.

So its not always only vm wanting channels on the cheap.;)

True l have added a service here or there but its not a pound here or there as its more like 2 or 3 pounds here or there when the price rises.:erm::erm:
