Re: F1 2010/11 closed/pre season discussion
Well I had the fortune of a day at the Williams F1 Centre on Friday.
Wow, wow and wow, that's all I can say. The museum with all the Williams cars through the years and the trophy cabinet was amazing along with the driver helmets. If anyone gets a chance to go, do it. |

Yes because adverts during a race ruin it, there are many sports I love but they don't get any TV coverage. ---------- Post added at 11:20 ---------- Previous post was at 11:19 ---------- Pirelli reveals Formula 1 tyre-identifying markings http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/moto...ne/9429326.stm Quote:

Re: F1 2010/11 closed/pre season discussion
Surely F1 viewing figures and overall popularity has risen over the past few years.
With the rise in technology and the display of these state of the art machines, More younger people are becoming more interested than ever. If they want to balance the books then Drop the crap shows or ITV or Sky will pick up on it. |

For years F1 has been on the BBC, but the money grabbing Bernie Ecclestone was offered more money by ITV and they got coverage, but they had adverts every 10 mins. The Bernie moved it back to he BBC, were I hop it stays. |
Re: F1 2010/11 closed/pre season discussion
BBC1 at least shows the practices on red button, ITV you only get the qualifying and race :(
