Well we are last yet again. But as the BBC pays the most cash we will not have to pre qualify next year.

we should stop funding this "Vote for your neighbour" so called contest.

Also stop so called pros writing the song.

Block voting is going on for awhile now and no matter what song is put forward for England and Ireland they have more chance of winning the lotto without buying a ticket so the two countrys should pull out now from the scam that it is now

Except that east European countries voting for their mates should also have prevented Germany from winning. But they just won.

The matey voting is always going to be a feature of the competition. It always has been, and not just from the east. The UK and Ireland have had more than their fair share of winners in the past, despite all that. I can't speak for Ireland (I missed their entry this year), but the reason we did so badly this year was that the song and the performer were both gash. Pure and simple.

But back then europe was smaller, and the smaller eastern european countries were a part of a bigger country (Yugoslavia etc)
