Well I guess Cameron's logic is that Clegg can't be as useless in the role as Prescott was... :D

If that is true, when DC takes time off for his new arrival NC will be running the country.

Who would have thought that a Lib Dem could be running this country

See I thought the idea was that whenever the criticism got too much the respective PMs would bugger off on holiday leaving Prescott in charge as a warning!

What a novel concept, have someone running something that they've had first hand experience of(Paddy was a member of the Special Boat Service).

Edit: Sorry, looks as though he was a Royal Marine, sure I read somewhere that he was in the SBS.

So if DC had an "accident" would NC be PM?

BBC:

Tory sources confirm that Nick Clegg will be deputy prime minister and that there are four other Lib Dem cabinet ministers.

As I voted Labour, at least I can say if the Tory/Lib Dems screw up and make a bigger mess of things at least I can say I didn't vote them in. And if they do a better job and make things better then at least it'll be a bonus. So win / win either way.:erm: :disturbd: :nutter: :D

I worried of a rejection by the Lib Dems, they taking ages. No mention of the AV thing since yesterday and I am wondering if it got pulled at the last moment. Fixed Term Parliaments is ok but not a massive concession whereas the tax thing is rumored to be just a 'priority'.

Probably just worried over nothing though.

Browns already back in North Queensferry - how fast was that?

And where was his luggage when he left Downing Street?
