Re: Left virgin
No one is available however you aren't meant to wait 3 Months before you cna reconnect, however I don't see a sales rep giving up sale because of this, but in TelfordCable case I don't believe him, he reminds me of the boy who cried wolf.

Re: Left virgin
I'm beginning to think he started the VM cancellation procedure and disconnected his equipment and then cancelled the cancellation later on, is that possible?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3n3LL338aGA Please bare in mind there are a lot of customers not happy with VMs service so they are not getting what they are paying for. Also VM are oversubscribing the network that is greed the same thing. Ideal situation would be all subscribers paying full price and noone on oversubscribed UBRs. If everyone got what they paid for thay may be happier paying it Quote:
And they have the right to say no its just a word its "no" ;) Quote:

Re: Left virgin
Ok, let's get something clear.
If you don't believe what someone's saying then either ignore their posts/threads entirely, don't respond to them if you really feel that you must read them, or prove them wrong. Don't resort to insults/accusations as those types of posts will be dealt with harshly. |
Re: Left virgin
I personally look for the best deal and then go for that I don't haggle the prices for a provider I pay the price that is set i.e Vodafone I asked them the price for the package I wanted they told me and I paid it I didn't haggle with them because thats the price, if I wanted something cheaper I would look round but too me that was a good deal and maybe a new customers get a better deal I don't mind as when I took my contract that was the price so I pay for it as I use the service.
I clearly stated having a refund for loss of service is fine I just hate people who bitch and moan ust to get a better deal because there mate has and the service is working perfect for this. |
Re: Left virgin
No-one have anything to say or are people just paranoid of being moderated? :p:
I'll restart the thread in that case as we were talking costs. There's nothing specific about Virgin Media or British people it's about consumers not being 'educated' to the benefits of their phatband and the larger operators going for the lowest common denominator of keeping service as cheap as possible rather than having quality as any kind of realistic concern. While Virgin have released 50Mbit they have done it massively on the cheap. BT's investment is small and inoffensive. It's not helped by a totally ignorant mass-media. I have already written to the Beeb about the following article as it's inaccurate and done in the style of a Sun correspondent or Hello magazine talking about a celebrity. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/s...re/8014323.stm EDIT: The main comedy apart from that the BBC don't know their bytes from bits is the video at the bottom. Bear in mind that this network is Fibre To The Cabinet and 25Mbit. The text of my message to the BBC follows: Quote:

Re: Left virgin
Hence why i said if I am unhappy with my deal I will look around but I don't haggle price if its the going rate
So your saying Zingle I get a deal say in April when I signed up for example but the next month you sign up to a different deal I wouldn't call up and complain until I get the deal because I took the offers at the time you got a different deal, companies cant survive if customer keep calling to have the latest deal because there mates have them, I either look for a deal and stick to it or I pay what I am happy to pay. |

No one has actually answered my question on how much its costs for someone to be connected. IE Phone BB and TV how much does this cost per customer? If VM offer loyalty discounts less than this figure then more fool them however I seriously doubt any business will sell a product for a loss unless its a loss leader if they do then more fool them. Dude just cuz you work for VM does not mean you have to champion them they have reaped what they sow by greed and mismanagement for years you owe them nothing as I do not |
