Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
I happy with my home network security.
Have have a Fingbox plugged into my router and every device that tries to connect to my network is blocked (wi-fi or wired), until I use the app on my phone to approve it. This is a pain when my sister, nephew and niece come over as they have apple phones and the MAC keeps changing, so they are blocked every time, my nephew will sort this next time they come over. |
Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
Does anybody use bitdefender total security?
My malwarebytes expires next year and it doesn't look like I'll buy another term. Pricing on g2a are excessive let alone malwarebytes themselves. I had bitdefender free antivirus on a OnePlus 9 Pro which didn't disappoint. I'm just curious of bitdefender total security which seems reasonably priced for a long term subscription on g2a :) |

Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
Damn AVG. I tried that in my teens. It wasn't strong enough.
Those free trials are no more on bitdefender :( but honestly I'm not going to keep going round each device and update credentials. I just want to activate and forget about it. Bitdefender free doesn't protect against ransomware whereas windows defender does. I'd be better of with windows defender no  |

If you had to do this every month it would likely be annoying. Edit You could try one of the yearly cheap keys and take a risk whether it'll activate or not, it maybe worth a punt to see what happens as it's only £11.61 but don't go blaming me if it goes tits up like you did with your mobile phone trade in. :D https://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/products/...BoCfFMQAvD_BwE ---------- Post added at 09:41 ---------- Previous post was at 09:32 ---------- Alternatively if you want to go legit then Topcashback have an 63.75% off deal. https://www.topcashback.co.uk/bitdefender/ |
Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
topcashback is VPN or business products and quidco 16% new customers £84 2 years 5 devices. g2a around £50 3 years 5 devices. Your link, cjs-cdkeys, around £55 3 years 5 devices 1£ short of what you owe me :)
I'm looking to commit to a long term subscription. |

Seriously though I'd take the cheapest 1 yr sub that gives you 5 devices and then just do it again in 12 months if you can't be arsed with the free trial route. |
Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
That particular deal is labelled USA. The global one is around £17. Not sure what ezy means which is around £16.
You could have come picked me up in your A3 instead of me paying bus fare :( |
Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
I guess if you pay with paypal and the ezkey does not work you can chargeback

Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
Your wise words will haunt me for life
The reason I questioned total security is because it was well priced. I have however not seen the actual need for it. An Antivirus alone would be enough to be honest. Malwarebytes has served me well for many years. Problem I have is even on g2a bitdfender isn't cheap, around £80 3 years 5 devices and I don't know whether it's multiplatform https://www.g2a.com/bitdefender-anti...10000001731026 I have time to mull over it. Bloody NatWest getting rid of Malwarebytes :banghead: |
Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
Just do the cheap one I gave you it's a no brainer doesn't matter if it's USA key use a VPN if needed.
Or just use free ones like me. |
Re: Antivirus, Firewall and Computer Health
 I lost 6£ because of your wise arse ideas. Not again.
