Well this is what it looked like on Saturday afternoon somewhere on the way out of Coire an Snechda near Aviemore in Scotland. We went for a weekend's course on ski touring and couldn't have had a greater variety of conditions to try out.

We have just had a heavy lot of rain/hail looked a little like snow. There is a bit of a white covering still left.

Brilliant sunny day here.I almost decided to go out and clean the windows whilst hanging new curtains.However I only stuck my nose out the door to realise that it would be a pretty bad idea.<shiver>

beautiful Here too, Incog - bright & sunny & really clear, I can easily see the wind farm on the opposite bank of the Humber estuary & the lighthouse on Spurn Point - but the wind is bitterly cold. I'd rather it was like this than grey & miserable, though :)

- and I missed the hailstorm this morning while I was in the shower ;)

We have had quite a bit overnight. Yesterday morning we had a light covering but that disappered by 11am and you would not have known we had had any snow. Todays lot is still around but melting quickly. Apparently more is on its way later.

Freezing here :( No snow as yet, though sleet has been forecast. Then again, knowing the weathermen, that probably means sunshine :rolleyes:

Ha, a friend of mine from St. Johns sent me a couple of pics. Makes the falls of snow weve had look pretty laughable in comparison.

Well I made a nice big snowman today! He had all the bits too. I heard the ice cream man yesterday too, I couldnt believe my ears. Stopped snowing now :o(

It's been trying to snow but keeps quickly turning to sleet, then it stops about 10/15 minutes later. Still bitter cold.
