Well my V+ has the new EPG and it's much better than the old one .
V+ is well worth it's money IMHO, and has already kept my kids happy with recorded movies:D
BBC1 & 2, ITV, CH4 and 5 were breaking up a bit last night, but I think that may have been a local issue, as it's spot on this morning. Guy that put mine in said the job he had just done was a problem. Something to do with levels and V+ not working, but mine fired up first time:D
