Well I don't know who have been speaking to but Neil has never worked at ntl. ;)

In anycase can we avoid getting personal and try to get back to the topic. Many thanks.

Well anyone browsing through the channels will now see an extra two channels for the On-Demand service and be able to access it that way.

He might not have been directely employed by them but he had a working relationship of sorts with them.

When I made the request to get back on topic, I meant it.

That's OK if the customers actually browse through the channels and if they haven't re-ordered them so they only browse through the channels that interest them. I tend to browse through DigiGuide rather than the TV and select what I want to view from there.

I think it's very foolish to assume that ntl hasn't communicated to those customers involved in VOD, just because no-one in glasgow has posted anything about the VOD on here. I hate to break the bad news, but this site is not the Mecca for all ntl: Home customers.... :erm:

If they don't browse through them they'll have to sit and be patient for a little while till they get the literature that will be sent out about it.

Why? ntl are well known for having a pitiful amount of communication with their staff & customers, so I don't think it's foolish at all given their track record.

Fair point, but going on ntl's near non existant communication with their customers in the past, it wouldn't be fair to bet they have done little/no comms in this instance. :)

I have a feeling that NTL may just wait to make sure things are working before they start advertising this new feature. I'm pretty sure alot of people would be down their necks telling them to stop advertising a service that doesn't work.

People have short memories - remember the L3.1 rollout? Didn't they send everyone information?

Lets just give them a while to get things worn in :)

No purchases yet just trying the free stuff, it works well so far, pausing rewinding etc.
