Tickets are available to pre-book now at Odeon but there is no midnight premiere or double bill which is disappointing.

Personally l much preferred The Equalizer the series which had Edward Woodward in General.

Re: Films to see in 2018
To be honest I'm rather fed up with the constant reworking of old TV and classic films plus the constant'rebooting' of comic and SF series. It's become rather boring so much so I'm not prepared to pay stupid prices to see them either at the cinema or on my TV screen in whatever format..

Welcome to the risk averse present.
Studios go for a known franchise every time, rather than risk millions on something new. |

Black Panther, Ready Player One, The Death of Stalin, A Wrinkle in Time, A Quiet Place, Coco, Dunkirk, Baby Driver, Atomic Blonde, Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri, Molly’s Game, Logan Lucky, are all ‘original’ films I’ve enjoyed over the last six months or so (I’ve also enjoyed the blockbusters as well, mostly). |
Re: Films to see in 2018
To an extent I do agree, however there are many reasons to reboot or remake an old series/movie. The main one being nostalgia.
People love things from when they were younger and any excuse to relive that means companies are always going to opt for that these days. Some modern versions can actually be good however .Take Westworld for example. |
