I dont normally buy bottles (get twice as much for same price in cans) but im finding them handy this week, problem is I go through them in 30 seconds..

Both really. Was not uncommon for me and the partner to go through a 2ltr bottle each night if not more. Put a bottle of whiskey in front on me and I can do 2ltrs of full sugar coke with it no problem.

It's not the fattening effect of the coke I'm more concerned with its the sugar that was damaging my teeth.

Still the main reason is trying to be good Mon - Thurs so a drink at the weekend is nicer.

It's not just the sugar in Coke that damages the teeth, it's the acidic nature of it too :eek:

Mrs Gaz bought me a box of Organic Fairtrade South African Shiraz tonight - I haven't tried it yet, as I'm still on a Banrock Station Australian Shiraz/Mataro, but I had to laugh when I read on the pack that they apparently 'employ ducks to keep the vines free from snails' instead of using chemicals - nice one :)

I do think I understand - one of the lasting impressions I have is when, aged 9, I accompanied my parents to live in a bungalow in Kenya.

- the queue of people wanting to be interviewed for possible work in the house or garden went down the road when we first arrived - houses on the estate had 'servants quarters' attached, which was, apparently, just one feature that appealed - armed guards when dad was away overnight may have been another?

But I did get taught which snakes to avoid & saw what a termite queen looks like in her chamber :)
