All I'm being told is 2 key dates 1st July and 31th July.

If these are for ESPNA HD or for the Sky HD channels its not clear but things are moving very quickly - The next month or so is a very busy one for VM so expect press releases soon.

But as per the recent email we are expecting somthing soon regarding the Sky Sports/Movies HD channels

What i can say ESPNA HD is 100% coming and will be included in the XL TV pack Free.

For all other TV packs it will be included in the subscription fee.

Virgin Media looking to launch an Scottish channel.

My insider has told me that Virgin hope to launch BBC ALBA on Virgin TV*.

*I was not told if this channel was set to launch in Scotland only (Like S4C is only in Wales) or UK wide.

I suspect that, besides the SPL, it will be a channel with less viewers than S4C.

I have no doubt that there will be somebody complaining that VM don't have BBC ALBA HD. ;)

As a non-Gaelic speaking Scotsman I have enjoyed more output from ALBA than I have from the majority of channels on VM or Sky.

Top of page 5 for anyone who has it. Also confirms channel number as 429. Seems to suggest it will be in the M Pack as it says it will be available to "all Virgin TV customers, with an HD set-top box".

i cant say only that the numebrs of hd chanensl on virign adn sky will mistly liekly be about the same well for now until sky launch more not sure if virign will keep up with new launchs

I think VM approach is more quality than quantity - Sky seem to convert anything and everything into HD channels.

Along with VM's approach to 3D - on demand is a much better and cheaper approach to a young 3D market.

Give it 2-3 years then us VM customers will be shouting Sky Sports 3D and so on.

But what a year makes, VM are now matching Sky for HD channels/content and I can only recall a £1.50 price increase.

My Insider has told that Virgin will soon give out info on prices and launch date for Sky Sports and Sky Movies HD Channels.

I have also been told that Virgin are looking to launch more HD Channels.

Hi good news has your insider mentioned when virgin will carry the red button interactive service on sky sports?

FIVE HD will be available on VM from its launch day sometime in July. Fiver +1 and Five USA +1 will also be available. Expect a press release soon with possible news on Demand Five too.

To me, if the Sports & Movies HD are included with XL & relevant subscription (Sports and/or Movies), as strongly rumoured, then I see that as bonus, but if VM decide/have to charge for them so be it I don't expect them for free.

Regarding Most Haunted, l stopped watching this, when it started to get really stupid, There was one that l did watch, and it was very quiet and thwen all of a sudden sparks started to fly, and l reckon this was started by the crew, to make it more more realistic, I have been in a haunted house and seen ghosts, and you don't need a camera crew to see that.

If there was real, absolute, scientific proof of ghosts or any paranormal phenomenon, I think we would have all heard about it by now. Since we havent, I think its safe to assume everything we have seen or heard about it does not constitute proof of any kind
