Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4

Just received from his school a lovely folder full of A4 colour pictures of Osem Jnr #2's recent work experience in a local supermarket. He looks so grown up and clearly enjoyed ensuring all the shelves were fully stocked with the items neatly displayed. I dare say he even got a bit annoyed as shoppers frequently undid his good work by buying stuff... :D

Yep - very small steps for a big lad but at least he's progressing. :)

Thanks guys! :) You really wouldn't think he was my lad - a baby faced 6ft 2ins with huge long legs and a trim physique as compared to his stocky old man. He may not have my body shape but he's got my temper... :)

I can sympathise with him Osem. When I did that work placement, the area and regional managers were coming in and I had to keep the drinks aisle in shape. Every time I got the drinks straight, someone came along and messed it up. I know the nature of business is to sell products, but when you are trying to impress a store manager and his 2 bosses it does get a bit grrr.

That's his own business and nobody else's in my opinion.

MY happy thought - thank goodness I've got my iPad and 8gb of data with me in hospitsl, 'cause there is no way i'd be paying 45 a week for the TV. I think I"ll just wait for iPlayer and doctor who ;)
