It's currently 36c here in Alanya (I don't do heat)

However apart from the searing heat I'm having a great holiday, well apart from the hotel 200m up the road that was firebombed on the first night night and the large demonstration outside the hotel that ended up with the Turkish police firing teargas and Us being escorted to our rooms

Seems to have settled down now though !!

Pretty warm near Izmir too. No sign of any trouble but we're in a hotel miles from anywhere. All inclusive luxury even got waiter service and free Wi-Fi on the beach.

Just had a visit from the community cardiac nurse and she is pretty happy with things so l don't have to see her for 3 months now.:)

Still in pain but not as bad thanks to the morphine so I can't complain :) back to the Drs tomorrow for some more ideas as to what's going on.

Yes l have to see the doctor on Friday about a few things as she wants a few other things checked like kidneys , creatinine , liver levels and my aching feet.

The doctor referred me to the skeletal / muscular clinic to see if they know what's going on - and upped my morphine dose.

My mother continues to improve and my older sister is taking a stint from Wednesday to help her recovery. I'm now back home with the OH. Bed: The word never sounded so good.:naughty: :D
