Sad Ireland didn't qualify, especially due to a missed handball. Though i have to admit i'm a bit of a francophile.

Extra time. You need a goal to go to the world cup and a massive chance has opened up but you need the hand to stop it going out of play. He looked ashamed but he would do it again. As would a lot of players.

Don't remember Henry ever using a hand to assist/score a goal before? He only ever scored quality goals which is why he's a legend.

Whilst it could 'easily have been given' there was no way that was a penalty, it was a dive and the ball was well out of Anelka's reach by then.

Didn't Anelka once play for Arsenal, to quote that well known football sage Russ," once an Arsenal cheat" .....;)

He was cost a goal in the FA Cup Final when a Liverpool Player cleared it off the line. (That wasn't cheating because it was a English Defender I believe).

Rooney would have done the same, Torres would have done the Same, Keane would have done the same, Van Persie would have done the same. We need video replays because how many players would do the honest thing with so much mistake.
