200 schools closed in Hampshire.Probably explains why I've not been called by my agency.

Hubby got to work though..but obviously things are tense as he's asked me to get him his daily nicotine fix...:erm:

Trouble is my shoes are leaky.:(

the best thing about snow is that i can't get to work! yay!! can't even get the car out of the garage unless we dig it out!!

College closed... in my obvious stupidity, I rang work and asked them if they needed me.

So far 3 of 15 people have made it to the office. Those with the 4 wheel drive Surrey Tractors are noticeably absent :erm:

I found a hard broom and swept outside the papershop where I work this morning, 5 times (every 20 mins or so - another inch) before the council arrived with some salt.

Just looked at the list of closed schools(wimps) and noted my local schools bar one(wimps) have all stayed open...

However I'm pleased not to be in school on a snow day..The students will be over excited and will not work and will be sneaking snow into the classrooms...:rolleyes:

Oh a day to be thankful to not be picking up extra cash...

More snow overnight here in sth Manchester. Just been out to check our roof and despite it being lovely and warm inside the house the roof is showing no signs of heat loss and still has a nice even snow blanket.

On a slightly off topic topic. Cable Forum city has had a very high snow fall and anyone who can spare a moment might consider clicking on the following link to help us get enough bodies to sweep the pavements..... :angel:

Starting to melt away here..but someone at the school I'm working at lately has just text me to say the school is now closed.Wimps! :D
