Over the few days earlier this week and the weekend she seemed to be improving qute a bit and becoming much less confused. We'll have to see how she copes back in her familiar surroundings. :)

Good to hear she has improved heero, and hopefully her recovery will speed up when she is back in he own wee castle. :)

The council have put my shower in this morning :)

I'll have to wait 'till Natalie gets back from Stockton before I try it though ;)

Next week they are widening doors for me to get about in my wheelchair :)

Dunno where they found the cash in the end but it's definitely all appreciated.

Its excellent to know that you are getting the help which you quite clearly need from the council dilli.

The wee one owned up to scratching the hob so I thanked him for telling the truth, I asked him if that is the reason he bought me flowers yesterday and he said yes as he knew I would be upset when I discovered what he had done. I don't understand why he just never told me in the first place as I would not have exactly went off my head at him yes I was gutted but life is to short to get angry over something as trivial as a scratched hob especially when he thought he was helping so his heart was in the right place and once he noticed he was scratching it he stopped.

So my happy thought is I have a truthful son who heart is in the right place.

See, my mum would have gone mad. But then she always did when I tried doing housework for her to help. Didn't hoover properly, etc. In the end I just told her to either accept my help and accept it won't be done to her exacting standards or shut up moaning about nobody helping with housework. I was only 15 at the time though. But you know, you try helping her and it was thrown back in the face. I gave up in the end. Easier to be called lazy than have whatever I did analysed.

I think I would have gave up helping my Mum also Mark if all I received was criticism. I have now said to the wee one he can still continue to clean the worktops if he wishes to do so but it would be very much appreciated if he left the hob to me no matter what has been spilled on it.
Anyway I do not see the point in getting angry or shouting mainly because I don't see the point of these actions when his intentions were good in the first place as he was just trying to help his Mum.

Drinks on me, had 10 minutes to kill before my train this morning so bought a scratchcard. Won £50. Nice start to the day, and then England winning the Ashes.

Got the BBQ out from the garage and cleaned the grill. Meat is defrosted and most of the prep is done. Soon we can enjoy. :) Nice lazy afternoon in the sun.

We're off to Center Parcs Longleat near Warminster today, hopefully the rain would have cleared by the afternoon and the weather does look to be improving for the rest of the week!
