Alright the likes of Fletcher, O'Shea, Richardson etc really set the world on fire my mistake, when the old boy's start to feel the pace when the pitches get boggy you'll be relying on them, good luck

and they are normally considered past it at 32- 33 ;), as for the others mentioned how many players of their talent would have got in your team six or seven years ago

It's hard to say, seeing as football styles tend to change over that period of time - why, what's your point?

Point being they wouldn't have got close as they aren't good enough, unless thats your point about styles changing, going from talented to crap

Yep, and that crap is what has put us 8 points clear at the top of the premiership.

So what age do you consider a player to be an 'old boy'? Over 30? Because only 4 of the team are at that stage - 2 are current internationals, and one is a retired international who was recently asked back?

going back to the derby game at the weekend.. City showed how well a team can do just by working hard and chasing the ball.. man for men they are a very poor side compared to us but their workrate put us to shame and showed just how well a team can do just by working hard.. if England put in those sort of levels of work rate in their matches they might actually win something
