Why? It's Skys channel.
There's a lot more on it than Game of Thrones Gangs of London, Westworld, Blue bloods to name 3 shows.
What makes me laugh is when people think Virgin media are entitled to everything, they was offered Atlantic they wouldn't pay case closed.

no one's had it thats the problem mate. BT either. So basically everyone for the past 6 or 7 years has not met skys value for the channel. That would suggest something.

Also since game of thrones ended sky atlantic now tv subscriptions have gone down so it was a pull for people in terms of the reasoning behind subscribing to the entertainment package. Now game of thrones has ended and yet sky seem to still be so resistant because they seem reluctant to to finally give up the channel after all this time

Just my thoughts anyway so less angry responses mate :) if it wasnt angry then fair enough it just comes across like that and you were one of the better posters on here in my eyes ;)

TV Channel list.com is reporting that Virgin Media UK will get THREE new channels on September 1st:

-Sky Max HD
-Sky Max
-Sky Showcase +1

As far as I know only Sky Max (One Channel) has been confirmed.

More irritation than angry mate but not at you as you made very good points, you was just in firing line so to say lol, sorry about that.
Bt do have SKY Atlantic now all be it via NOWTV but it is there, plusnet have thrown the towell in tvwise and no longer provide tv, i think Talktalk only do freeview tv now plus ppv movies etc.
The same could be said for BT regarding AMC which personally i'm surprised it's still going only BT have it, not even Plusnet a sub branch of BT had it when they had their tv service.

As you know full well MB that site can be edited by anyone therefore any ‘reporting’ can be taken with a pinch of salt.

Technically they are, SKYshowcase and SKYMAX one of them has a plus1 too.
But as reported earlier in the thread by other posters SKYshowcase is replacing SKYone.

Indeed but MB listed as the plus1 as coming to Virgin Media using that site as a credible source.
There are quite a few Sky +1s not available on Virgin.

Absolutely which would tell me it is unlikely that any more +1 services from Sky will arrive.

It hit and miss with Virgin when it comes to Sky,

Virgin got an HD Channel with Sky Crime but Sky One +1 and Pick +1 was drop by Virgin Media UK when Virgin took over Smallworld Cable in 2014.

I was a Smallworld customer right from the start when they launched as Omne Communications, we were one of their first customers.

It was well run in the end.
