Getting netflix as the replacement on demand service would make a lot of sense.

I disagree - there's a big market for people who don't want to wait 12 months from the VOD window >>> Netflix/Lovefilm Window. Hence Sky Box Office and VM Movies.

The likes of Iron Man 3 and Star Trek Into Darkness won't show up on the likes of Netflix until this time next year. Why deny the choice to watch those films now, for people willing to pay the price?

I'm afraid it's already in bud,since got home from work watched raw on sky sports 3hd,and 2 episodes of blue blood on sky Atlantic hd,just watching the tunnel in hd on demand then it's a switch over for haven on me TiVo ;)

I have it on strong authority that much wanted Sky channels will be made available to other platforms shortly.
