I am flattered that you are dedicating so much time and effort to following me from thread to thread, hanging on to my every word, however this needs to stop.

Clearly you find me and my views irresistible. Wherever I post you follow. I do appreciate the attention however it’s becoming a bit creepy. I have no need for a Cable Forum stalker.

Your views and opinions are of no interest to me. These continual back and fourth debates are tiresome and add no value to my Cable Forum experience. As a result I’ve added you to my ignore list. I see that he can not - Sad response . Poor soul.
For the record. I look at all posts & respond as and when. Human nature is my "money earner". Would love to understand the reason behind his choices. Bless

Re: BoxNation on Virgin Media?

Some useful info for anyone who ever leaves Virgin, joins SKY, and wants to keep Boxnation.

Even though I've been a subscriber from day 1, I still had to pay a £10 registration fee up front when re-subscribing to the channel via SKY.

Also it’s £10.00 per box, not £10.00 per household. With Virgin I got access to BoxNation in my livingroom and bedroom for £10.00 per month. To do the same via SKY, it’s £20.00

When it comes to BoxNation, Virgin is the best value for money.

Indeed so what might seem to be a cheap package in the first year becomes suddenly dearer and dearer Chad.

That's because BoxNation handle their own subscriptions on Sky like Zee TV and Premier Sports, ESPN on Sky is dealt with by Sky hence it works on all boxes around the house , the good thing is with 12 month contracts Chad you can always switch back if your not happy or feel VM offer you a better all round package.

I should be able to afford it if I cut out some of the steak bakes from Greggs I've been putting away in recent weeks :D

BT are selling their channels directly to SKY customers too. Could become real expensive.

I agree about the whole 12 month contract thing. I've kept all my cabling for Virgin in tact. If after 12 months I can't afford SKY, or I am unhappy for any reason, I can go back to Virgin. No doubt it will be a 18 month contract however I should be able to get the first 6 months for half price. Who knows, in 12 months time maybe BT Vision will be more attractive, price wise, than both SKY and Virgin.

Just checked my confirmation of subscription e-mail from Boxnation. If I refer a friend to them I get 1 month free subscription. They have a limit of 12 referrals. If I beaver away on the various boxing forums I visit, I could wangle a free year of Boxnation viewing.
