I ordered some roller blind endcaps and cord hoping the spacing on the mount holes will be the same as my existing blind as the new blinds aren't as I don't fancy having to drill into the concrete lintel again.

Anyway........ Just wanted to say the sellers company name on Amazon is.......... yangzhouyangdongchuangfengwenhuachuanmeiouz :D

New smaller sized Boxer shorts and an XL Hoodie for cycling to the gym in and a L (my first large buy since the weight loss) Hoodie for casual. Had to buy XL for cycling to the gym as I wear a bum bag for my phone and keys as my anxiety does not let me put the phone on the machines for obvious reasons. I think I might be the only middle aged person ever to use one at a gym but I do not care

Possibly a new shower (Triton T80Z Thermostatic 10.5kW) to replace our very nice but obsolete old Triton Topaz T100Si. It's the closest fit to the current but if the water is a push fit not pressure fit they can't proceed. Then what??
I'd like one of their new Envi units but we don't have the cupboard to put the main unit in.

It's down to earth bonding regs I think. Although it might probably be a plastic to copper connection which makes a mockery of the regs.

You could've sold them to the council, if they're offering such a scheme, I'm considering it should the in-laws need me and the other half to move in to help with care, beauty off it is not only is it avaliable then at social rent in the community but there's no estate agency fees, no hagling, no time wasters, no chain and it's easy for the lawyers

Spent too much recently. A new washing machine for our daughter. There was a nice black one (white models a couple of hundred more) but she didn't want black so it's a Zanussi from Amazon, they charge £30 to deliver, install, uninstall and remove the old machine.
Also, for myself, a Canon EOS R6 Mark II with a RF 24-105 F/4L IS USM lens and the control ring adaptor from Cotswold Cameras. I got the dispatched note this morning and just before lunch it was delivered. I am now waiting for the battery to charge. I'll go for a walk with my new toy this evening.

Good luck with the Daytona. I think I'd have to murder my wife to be able to afford one of those.

Not sure about the MR-Gs though. A watch that can look like a £30 watch but can cost around £3600 is just a step too far and a bit too weird for me for a digital watch. Though not saying that's your model but I can't get my head around that entire range.

I can't justify paying anything over £400-500 for a watch that needs a battery.

The Explorer though, very nice indeed. :tu:

Lol hopefully just the traps, I will hopefully see in the morning if I've caught any of the little buggers, last time I did this they were in the loft and somehow made it down to the kitchen bin with no lid on, I caught several then before it stopped.

Nothing this morning so hopefully it's not as bad as last time, but my bait is only cheese, last time I used Snickers, but the heat will make a hell of a mess in the traps from that.

We just bought one of the Ninja XL ones with the flex drawer seems to work quite nicely , but if all things like chips have to be laid out in one layer then even in the xl you’re only going to get about seven chips each.

New glasses an absolute fortune and that’s with 50% discount being on the contact lens scheme

I think carphone have a huge trade in discount, you get an extra £200 on what you get for your handset, so you would get £535 trade in plus atleast £65 cash back.

Nice, I got the S24+ on ID with unlimited data, texts & calls for £39 a month. I got some cash back and some Galaxy Buds2 Pro headphones and a SmartTag2.

Download speeds on ID are generally very good >600 Mbps isn't uncommon BUT upload can sometimes be a bit lacking (sometimes <2 Mbps)

@ Hugh and Jay
I have tried using different size ear tips and the blumming things still fall out. .....(TMI i know but one of my first, very expensive, pair fell into the loo and there was no way I was going to stick it in my ear afterwards. )

I like listening to music as I garden and I am expecting at least 2 earbud trees to grow through the borders next year. :) I used to take my phone out with me and doing the phone hunt was even more annoying until I found a make of ear bud that has a better range. Thumbs up to budget priced Jesebang.

Earlier today I took delivery of my shiny new iPhone 15 Pro Max 256gb. Had the 13 PM for a good while and as it was pretty damn good I never felt like upgrading but those urchins at EE made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.

The titanium body makes it much lighter than the 13. The video recording is out of this world and it’s blisteringly fast at running my work app - the 13 ran it pretty well but the 15 feels like about 5 times faster. Loads of new extra little features that I’m enjoying too. Very happy with this.

Enjoy your new device, I'm loving my Pixel 9 Pro XL which I got on release day last week, it's a huge step up from my trusty S20FE, it also came with a free smart watch for very little monthly cost increase and I'm blown away with the AI camera abilities, with a few simple clicks I turned 2 cars in my works car park into a Ferrari and Lamborghini and with a fun fair in the background and it looked real.

Yeah I’m not too sure AI has much in store that excites me, not on a phone anyway. Due to DRM it’s not coming to Europe until next year but I don’t feel like I’m missing out on much right now.

My old Gigabyte 34" curved monitor died last week, so replaced it with a iiyama G-Master Red Eagle GCB3480WQSU-B1 34 Inch Gaming Monitor 1500R curved VA panel with 180Hz refresh rate, 0.4ms MPRT and 3440x1440 resolution (4.9 megapixel UWQHD, DisplayPort).

It's quite nice...

Prezzies for wife's birthday. I'll not share more in case she's watching!

A few books on Theology.

Concentrated weed killer and sprayer, my plan is to go along my dead neighbours fence while I can still get access to the garden and spray the incredibly overgrown ivy and brambles, as it'll likely be many months before that house is sold and decontaminated and fixed up again and the garden has been abandoned for many years.

A new type of drill bit that a contractor who was here was raving about. From Temu, £3.81 for a 5-piece set. Ordered on Monday, already in the UK in the hands of Evri.

Two electric space heaters for our church because the ancient boiler has finally, totally died and it’ll be a month before we can get a replacement ordered and installed.

It was cheaper to buy a pair of 3kW ones outright than to hire a single, larger one from HSS for a month. At least I can be sure we won’t blow the electrics as well, if each of them’s pulling no more than a quick-boil kettle.

Needed a cheap-and-cheerful printer so found this. I had a £20 Argos voucher from when they messed up a previous order so cashed that in and the printer is (hopefully, as I don't have much faith in Argos' delivery service - that's what the previous issue was about) arriving tomorrow sometime.

Although I'll get to use very little of it - Mrs B runs her own business (sells home-made sunday dinners) and is massively successful given the amount of work she puts in, and the printer is mainly for her use.
