Hi guys, quick question, if I upgrade to watch Starz on one of my three V6 boxes, is it then available on all boxes? Thx

Only in the US for now, unfortunately. I’m still puzzled as to why they have closed the channel over here, given the streamer has yet to launch. They may not regain a sizeable proportion of viewers that they have now lost.

CNN's still on Sky Q.

It is, sorry I didn’t make that clear.

The Warner/Comcast deal will probably mean the channel is safe on Sky Q for the time being, although it’s curious that it does not include Sky Glass.

No idea about Sky Glass, but will be a shame if CNN leaves Sky Q as I do like a bit of Erin when I'm struggling to sleep

Unfortunately ? what you’d seriously add this service as well.

Discovery+ is now available in the LG Content Store (well it is on my 3 year old OLED).
It seems a lot better so far than the app on my Firestick purely by the fact that sports content is being displayed at the correct framerate so there is no jerkiness.

Seems not everyone agrees with you about Netflix.

Personally? No. But I do believe that people should be able to choose the streamer of their choice on Sky and Virgin.

Or is it just another journalist looking for an easy headline?

I don't know, muppetman, not everyone is going to agree on absolutely anything.

One thing I do know is that Netflix is the streamer of choice. It has the best possible range of dramas - not all good - but enough to enable you to put together a huge watchlist of excellent programmes.

They may price themselves out of the no 1 position in time, of course, but the reason for people dropping their subscriptions will be because people can no longer afford it rather than changing subs for something better.

At that point, perhaps they would be better ditching their 'no advertising' policy and go for a free or discounted 'with-ads' option. That would enable them to capture a whole new audience.
