A change around is overdue. The big European clubs have become complacent and believe their own hype. Hard work and desire beats money.

The moment you let players run the changing room is the moment player power wins.

The EFL have reached a ground-breaking deal with Sky Sports that will enable clubs in all three divisions to stream every match next season live on their websites.

Quote:

Season-ticket holders will get access to their side's home matches free of charge and more casual fans will be able to watch every game — including Saturday 3pm kick-offs for the first time — for a fee of around £10.

Quote:

The arrangement will be reviewed on a regular basis but is expected to remain in place until the Government permits a 50 per cent occupancy rate at stadiums.

This is likely to be some way off given the initial plan is for a maximum capacity of between 20 and 30 per cent when fans return. This is scheduled for October at the earliest.

No chance, Forest Green Rovers have a deal sown up with Messi.

Lionel doesn't require payment, he just does it for the joy of a kickabout, with jumpers for goalposts etc :)

Quite amusing news. Newcastle United 3rd 'bidder' BNG has been exposed as fraudulent by Newcastle fans. Mass resignations from the fake company have now followed.

Quote:

Several directors - including Evangeline Shen and Marjory Loh, sister of Terence and Nelson Loh - resigned from a Singaporean firm linked as bidders for Newcastle United on Tuesday due to “recent intense public scrutiny.” [Reuters] #nufc
The digging all started when they posted horribly photoshopped images of themselves with Obama. :D

Less amusing is this is getting a bit silly now. Henry Mauriss and BNG are getting free UK press on takeovers that don't exist. You've got the Wigan crisis still to be answered for. There needs to be a serious change in the takeover of clubs and a lot more transparency. Absolutely nobody in the public has a clue what happened regarding Saudi Arabia's attempt to takeover Newcastle or what happened during the EFL test that allowed a group to send Wigan under in a week. I know there's a fair chance at the minute that ours will be going up in Parliament when it resumes but Wigan should be on the same table.
