Travel possibly? Virgin trains are notorious for being a bit tight when it comes to last train back to Manchester and if the game went to ET and/or penalties then fans would have missed it so they decided to stay home and watch it on TV instead.

I went to see Arsenal at Old Trafford in the FA Cup a few years ago. It has a mad rush to get back in time for the last train to London, people packed onto it and were standing for the entire journey (i got a seat!). It's mad and that was a Saturday.

They looked like your players and cost a fortune, Richards, clichey, kolorov, nestasich(sp)

Is the £32 mil for mangala 100% of the transfer or just the chunk paid to porto for their share.

Boyata isn't a regular,nor is clichy at right back. nasty hasn't been a regular for awhile.

not sure about price..i thought it was total..but reports say that Porto got 30.5m euros for their share...so curious myself
