No the red button is available now but won't be properly up and running till the new season. However on the TiVo red button will take longer to arrive.

Any ideas whether the match choice on VM will have the option to record your chosen game ?

Yes when you press the R button it gives you a list of games that are on and you just select the game you want and press R and it records it , hopefully VM will get this it's a great feature.

It all depends on whether it can be programmed and if they plan to have that feature. Only time will tell I guess.

And when l said Media boy said that yesterday in his blog you seemed doubtful about it and gave the impression that it was coming sooner.

The red button on Sky is brilliant, you choose what game you want to watch. And the good thing about it is, l think two seasons ago the title went to the wire, and Sky carried both games on the red button, so you could switch between them - it was brilliant, wether VM do the same, its hard to tell.

That is correct , hopefully these features will come to VM as well , I guess time will tell.

When is the exact date when the red button comes to tivo no one is sure at the moment.

I would assume that there's no set date as such, and that development will start once the non-TiVo version has most of the bugs ironed out.
