Had my healthy lunch, so now a gently-reheated sausage roll. :D

Just about to tuck into the wife's mince and chips, with a couple of rounds of bread and butter.

I can understand why you might think that but it's very nice the way the wife does it.

Home made chips, with a little salt and lashings of vinegar, then the wife does the mince with finely chopped onion in a thickish gravy, which is then poured over the chips.

Quick, simple and really tasty

We had homemade cottage pie last night with mushy peas and 2 extra thick buttered rounds of bread, equally tasty.

Not since I hit her upside the head with my gentleman sausage for getting out of hand.

I think I made my point, she has raised her game now and I only occasionally get corned beef which is fine with me.

More often than not now I get cooked meat with a full salad strapped together with a few pieces of warbies.

I like a corned beef sandwich but I do you remember your posts about them last year as it was amusing hence my supplied pictures at the time.
