Used it 3 times so far, once on a windy day (when I could not have used my BBQ).
Easy to use, and the results have been great, nicely grilled. So yes, so far I'm pleased with it. :)

I have not tried using the smoker yet, thats on my to-do list.

The only potential issue with Laser Printers is heat.

They use heat to set the toner on the page, thats why if you get it on you when clearing a jam you wash in cold soapy water, so not to set it on you.

For £21 they r amazing. I put a 64gb memory card into all 3 and they work a treat and great image quality even in low light.

Lidl had 64Gb USB memory sticks on sale a while back at £9.99. So many were stolen that they were withdrawn from sale. But now the empty pack must be taken to till to get the sticks, and now they are £4.99 (2 2.0 ones or 1 3.2 ones).

Calcium carbonate antacids have been impossible to find. But suddenly they appeared in Morrisons, but more than double the price of a year or so ago. Boots say they have them, but when the lad asked for them, he was told they haven't had any for ages.

Just take half a tea spoon of bi carb in half a cup of water or very weak orange squash.

But if it's a big problem, see your GP and get it looked at. Maybe need prescription meds such as Omeprazole or something. But again if it's problem, get it seen to.

New shape Renault Clio MediaNav tce, in black.

Tired of the running and fuel costs of my aging Mondeo 2.2 Titanium X tdci so I replaced it with the Clio. Nowhere near as powerful (173bhp, now down to 100bhp) but it’s zero tax, much more modern, fuel efficient and now a tankful will last me several weeks instead of just over a week.

I was warned off Bicarb decades ago due to the sodium (salt) content.

I have Omeprazole as required on an open prescription, but I only take a dose once or twice every few months. The GP prefers that I occasionally take a Calcium antacid as required, with Omeprazole the next day if acid reflux continues. Plus is it a useful source of calcium as I rarely consume any dairy products.

My wife has to take daily aspirin to thin her blood, so had omeprazole to counteract its effects on stomach acid. After many years dosing with it, she broke her arm at the beginning of COVID, and tests showed that she has low bone density. This rang bells, as omeprazole is thought to reduce calcium, increasing the risk of bone density dropping. So she had to take Calci-D to increase her calcium levels. Even that almost totally vanished from stocks due to companies not being able to source Calcium Carbonate.

My 2019 Dacia Logan 2 has Renault's 0.9 TCe engine. It's quite pokey around urban areas. I only get about 33mpg though, due to mostly being stuck in 3rd gear in the blanket 20mph area we live in. :(

Strangely enough, my 18 year old Breitling SuperOcean would now cost me between two and three times its initial cost (new) to replace - tbf, I bought it in Jersey tax-free (but from a U.K. chain of jewellers to ensure any problems would be resolved).

SuperOcean is a stunning watch , all of them seem to nosedive in terms of value and then level off and in the case of the SuperOcean and a few other models regain.

The Enduranxe Pro is available at 1yr old, full set, remaining warranty at £1450 ish so that’s a drop of 50%

Still not as bad as TAG though 😂

The Citizen Super Titanium BY1018-80E Tsuki-yomi Is next on the list and I need to get it fairly quickly as it’s selling out

I have a titanium Citizen, easily the most reliable and accurate watch I have. It must be nearly 20 years old now and still holds charge that lasts for months on end. Weighs next to nothing too.

Citizen make some great watches I had a titanium eco drive until it was nicked by Turkish customs about five years ago. they use Citizen movements in the new TAG Heuer solargraphs.

There’s a stunning Citizen with a blue paper dial that was only released to the Japanese market, they’re fairly rare over here and priced accordingly > £2.5k before import duties

I would have asked for the link for that but then seen it's 44mm. Way too big for me. Gutted, looks really nice too.

Typically I've found something I'm considering but won't be buying till I try it on due to the size (40mm). It's the Hamilton Intra-Matic Chrono Panda. But just my luck after ringing around the shops in my town they don't have them in stock. So, not sure what to do about it at the mo.

I also bought a EBD2 car fault reader to reset the servicing icon on the car dash. Dacia won't do a reset unless I pay them £320 plus fluids (oil and any top-ups for the radiator and washer bottle) plus parts (air filter, oil filter and cabin filter). Then VAT on top!

No way was I going to pay all that after only 668 miles this past year. The air filter is £5 from a motor factors and takes 10 seconds to change without tools, but they want £22! And as for the cabin filter, I have punched a big hole in it, as it causes the resistor pack for the cabin fan to blow up if it gets damp or clogged. I'm not allergic to pollen anyway.

The receptionist said I should also get an Air Conditioning purge and refill. I told her that I just open the window when it gets hot. :D

Out of contract with O2, looking for a better deal (paying £14 per month for 5GB (doubled to 10 because VM/O2)), and this came up on Uswitch.

12 months O2 contract (with eSIM if you want it - I did); 10Gb per month (I get 20GB because VM/O2) for £5.99 per month.

https://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/sim-...e=compare%2Fo2

I haven’t switched before because the previous Uswitch /O2 deals didn’t include EU Roaming or Travel Zone Bolt On, but this does - not often you get twice the data for 40% (ish) of the price…

Quite a few good deals here if you’re out of contract with O2.

That method was stopped a couple of years later. I'm a member of a Dacia forum, and many are complaining that Dacia is blackmailing owners "full service and scheduled work or no reset will be provided".

It was £10 to get a reset from them just a couple of years ago. Then it was £75 (plus VAT) for a couple of minutes' work. Now it's "pay over the odds for a service or get no help".

A local store had some very shabby Impatiens plants on sale outside, 3 trays for £6 (18 plants).

As I walked past, the boss knocked them all down to 10p a tray. So I took a step back and found the only 3 trays that were perfect (out of the wind).

What's your estimate in £s you have spent? I've actually never bought or used one and I'm the kind of person who after watching a movie are unlikely to watch it ever again so it would be a crazy waste of my finances.

My brother bought 100's of VHS cassettes, then DVDs, then BluRays, now he's given up. No point with the internet and Streaming services.

The App I use says over 50%.

It's actually cheaper to buy a DVD or Blu-Ray than for 2/3 people to go to the cinema these days (not including the food & Drink you buy) plus you can pause for a loo/booze break.

That's how I see it, all my stuff is now streamed, I don't even download movies now like I did in the dark ages.

Trouble is streaming requires a subscription to the site and an ISP, if either go down your buggered. With physical media you ain't.

My only problem is room.

You can do that when streaming too either using a not so legal app(BeeTV) or paid which is what I use, going to the Cinema is ridiculously expensive especially if you have to pay for travel/parking too.

There is a very good point to owning physical media. Preserving movies. Many of the DVDs/Blu Rays I own have either never been on streaming services or have moved between the different services and then disappeared.

Very nice, I nearly purchased the AM07 (refurb) a couple of weeks ago but went with the Meaco 1056p fan instead due to price. Very impressive fan compared to anything else I've had in the past.
