That's because its premium first run movie subscription rights , if I cancel Netflix or Amazon I'm no longer able to view the content.

But doesn't Sky do it with all their channels? Aren't Sky the only pay TV channel that does this?

Agreed not sure why they do it with the basic channels but I can fully understand the movies , the way Sky's OD service is setup On Demand content is added to the planner just like recordings so a user could easily download a load of movies and simply pay a month especially with 1TB and 2TB HDD in use.

Unlikely. Another company (RPX) bought the patents, which appear to cover the aerial technology.

Besides, I doubt TiVo want to go the same way :)

I like how on media boys calendar on page1 the entire month of february was "no news". how right he was! march as well looks bleak.

at least the free sky movies have shown up today. so i can entertain myself by watching some c*ap. sometimes its enjoyable to watch a c*ap movie on a rainy day.

Does anyone know a website which covers new additions to netflix or a website with all the contents of whats on netflix.

Up to date list see "Virgin TV - Last updated (Date given)" - at the end of this post.

Cheers for the info, MB. I guess no timings on Channel launches or channel movements have been made available yet?

Nothing has been confirmed by Virgin Sources at time of posting. The story on MB Blog is just for information on what channels may launch as part of that new broadcasting deal with FOX International Channels.

That's what I thought.

It would be good to finally get Nat Geo Wild HD.

Try:

http://netflix.maft.uk/

On the RHS at the top you will also see a link to whats new on Netflix USA. I find it very useful. To search what's on Netflix worldwide:

https://netflixaroundtheworld.com/

Enjoy

As you say in your blog, now that BBC1 +1 won't be using the old BBC3 capacity if the closure goes ahead, it means that 9pm to 7am is going unused.

Maybe they should introduce BBC2 +1 to use up the spectrum? If they aren't going to use it, perhaps the BBC could raise much needed funds by renting this prime time slot out to another broadcaster (if this would be allowed).

Anyone have an idea why FOX HD has moved?
It's about time a HD swap option was added, instead of moving channels around, FOX HD 158, is one of the few channel numbers I know, that and 212, 310 and 604 lol
