In a way mate they already show sport as Netflix USA shows UFC and WWE programming, i wouldn't be surprised to see other sporting programmes coming to them soon.

Netflix or Amazon would be great bundled in with a VM TV package, that would be amazing if VM could pull that off.

But unlike linear TV channels, Netflix do not always get the most recent tv series straight away or the most recent movies, which unfortunately is one down side to it. What Netflix does have though, is a lot of HD content at no extra cost and is great value for money.

I have a lovefilm by post subscription and can have the latest movies popped in the post pretty much on the day it is released, and long before they are on Sky Premiere. Even if VM do not add Netflix to XL (I think they will, following the e-mail questionnaire and theones post) I will still be paying less than £15 for access to pretty much any TV show and/or film I care to watch. I may have to wait (at most) a couple of days for dvds from lovefilm, but I think it is well worth it.

If an Amazon prime app comes to VM as well, the content available for at most £20 a month will be staggering.

They are very easy to set up i simply put my virgin media hub into modem mode connected my own router to it and changed the dns settings.
You can set it up via your laptop/pc too very easily by changing the dns in your adaptar, unotelly and unblockus both give full instructions on how to set your devices up.

I use my ROKU for 90% of my tv viewing the adverts on huluplus aren't too bad there are about 5 1 minute ad breaks per hour but it's American adverts which i don't mind.
If i wish to watch anything that's on lifetime for instance i connect my pc to my tv via hdmi and have a adblocker installed so i get no adverts at all however CBS have got wise to people using that method lol but the ads are quite short.
Iplayer etc i use my xbox360 or ps3 to watch them on.
I just cancelled my tv license too i explained i'm only watching on demand, someone popped around checked my story out and said i don't need a tv license so they'll see me in 2 years time-ish.
For videos i have on my pc i use plex to stream them to my ROKU box to watch on my tv.
For those who are interested in the smart dns services both unotelly and unblockus offer a free 8 day trial to see if it's for you, also Netflix offer a free 30 day trial too.
