Man City look absolutely no different under Pep. Then again I did say this would happen given the media have hyped up his name based upon two stints at world beating teams.

They should really pull the goals back here and nullify the nonsense away goal rule but for them to have shipped 5 goals to Monaco is baffling.

Well Monaco have scored 125 goals so far this season, but as for Pep not only did he inherit world class sides, they were both playing in leagues with only one or two serious challengers.

This Monaco side seem to be running out of steam again though.

It's something that never bothered me that much until I took a bigger interest in English teams playing in the UCL. The one that got me started was Chelsea being knocked out by Barcelona with a result of 0-0 in Barcelona and 1-1 in London, truly awful rule.

Ah well, City have no choice but to void the rule at this point. get two goals and be done with this bollocks.

If Sterling spent more time putting the ball in the box than trying to take his man on, you know you might just see a cross...:erm:

Big club, little fight though in Man City. There's just absolutely no desire here from City, no pressure on Monaco at all.

I know it was introduced to stop teams, mainly Italian from scoring one then shutting up shop, or playing for penalties but in this instance a team like Monaco who throw caution to the wind and score three away goals probably deserve something.

Then he does and it's ballooned over everyone, genius, that's what 50 million is worth now? That free-kick from De Bruyne was stinking. That was an awful 10 minutes, absolutely no pressure on Monaco.
