My post was on behalf of people who feel the same way regarding being forced to pay for a premium service.

How can anyone be forced to pay for a premium service, sorry PB maybe it's me, but if you pay extra to watch, say, Sky Sports for the football, no one is forcing you to do so, so where you coming from?

Does that mean it is definitely coming to VM then? Or are you saying that if it does, you think it will be in the M pack?

BT Sport is a Premium service, and VM added it to the XL pack. People who just want the extra non Premium channels that XL gives over the other packs, but aren't interested in sport, were in effect forced to pay for premium sport. BT sports channels cost a heck of a lot more than non-premium channels.

This became more obvious recently, with the £3 increase in the XL pack to pay for the new BT sport channel.

At long last "Justified" season 5 is to be shown on TV. However it's on "Spike" tv. Anybody know if Virgin Media will be getting this channel ?

Craft Channel, Africa Channel, is that all there is to talk about! Does anyone actually watch these? I think everyone knows the channels we really would like to see.

Spike won't be arriving on VM in 2015 neither will trutv, however you can watch SPIKE on demand content via demand 5 on pc or compatable tv/box/phone etc not tivo so i'd imagine it will be on there.
Trutv you can watch live if you wish via their website.

Ditto the Craft Channel. That channel's Freeview launch is IPTV only and it channel hops on Sky and Freesat (ie different channel numbers for different times of the day) so more of a soft launch really.

Maybe VM think that if you take up a hobby and immerse yourself in ethnic programming, you'll forget all about SA :D

It's probably the only affordable way that they can do it.

Yes, something new for XL subscribers, not really worth an extra £3 a month though. ;)

I suppose the thinking is that people don't pay subs to VM to have to watch channels on Freeview.
