Once Frank Warren signed his promotions to BT it was really a matter of time.

The question is how much of the boxing will be on BT's main bouquet of sports channels and how much of it will be on their PPV Box Office.

Not a channel I`ve ever watched, don`t even know what they offer but at a guess I`d say boxing?

I agree with you both.

I've followed the company from time to time and seen the debt pile up. On top of Queensberry Promotions' BT deal, Bill Ives who was bankrolling the channel died in August 2017, so for the channel to last so long is an achievement.

Yes. Prior to 2017 it had the shows put on by Frank Warren in the UK and some US shows.

Arguably only Tyson Fury in the Warren camp is worthy of PPV. Maybe Josh Warrington with a quality undercard. With Eddie trying to get £20 to see a number of his fighters the patience of the boxing fan is wearing thin to keep paying £20 on top of existing subscriptions for these shows.

I might be showing my ignorance here not being a boxing fan but why are some bouts ppv? It does seem unfair if your`e a sports fan and sub to all the sports channels that you then have to pay more to see a top boxing match.

I quite agree, but don't shout too loud or someone might come up with the idea of making the top football matches Ppv on top of the sports subs.

If they do then they can get on their Jack Jones...

That is down to the promoter deciding how to make the most money.

Sky have said before that they only made available PPV rights which no option to but and show on a regular channel.

The simple answer to kill that off would be if all boxing fans shunned ppv
