Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
You would not have to pay for one dilli :) as its becoming more and more common for treatments to be done at home nowadays as it saves them money and less mantime hours in the process.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
At £20,000 a pop I can't see my local authority or NHS paying.
But I will be asking the kidney clinic about them the next time I go. |

If I had 20 thousand sitting around dilli I'd gladly pay for you to have one.

Had my renewal price from RAC Breakdown come through. they wanted £96 for the forthcoming year.
I told them I'll give them £60. and they said ok :) I noticed Green Flag do a risk assessment type of quote now for breakdown. |

You got ripped off, I get my RAC roadside, recovery, at home for £48 of Tesco club card vouchers, so basically I get it for free. The normal RAC price for that is £113. |
Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
As long he is happy with the price. It doesn't hurt to call and try to negotiate with them. Although it does make you wonder how they can justify the higher premium if they let you negotiate it down a bit.

I just moved my car insurance and from a renewal premium that had leapt to £385 yet I put my details in on their website and it came back with under £200. Lying, cheating you know whats. I got insured on the same terms for £98 with a £20 shopping voucher thrown in from the AA.:) |
Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Yes, it seems they bank on customers being either lazy or stupid to not change providers. A lot of people I know actually think it involves a lot of work to change. 1 phone call, that's all.

My nephew (aged 28) and his lady friend (who owned the car) walked away from a nasty crash - so happy they only have minor bumps and bruises; could have been so much worse....
They were on their way to catch the Holyhead ferry today when the accident happened - they spun out at 60 mph on the motorway followed by a trip over a verge and then 20 meters down a ditch and other than a fully ruined front end the driver compartment was untouched. http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/at...7&d=1428078969 |
