Well, a nice day with my mum and brother and sister ends in tears. Had been a nice day, played a game of monopoly and had a roast lunch. Then my brother decides to smack sister on the head, so mum smacked him one on the head back. Result: he storms off, throwing his glasses at mum, swearing at her and saying drop dead. When called on it, he then tried picking her up. Luckily I was there to grab hold of him to stop him. 15 years my junior or not, had he actually harmed mum I would have knocked him right out.

Looking forward to going to the Church tonight for the yearly Daffodil Tea in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care. It always has lovely home baking. It's really nice to catch up with friends and what makes it nicer is the fact it's for a good cause.

Trolly at the supermarket was unlocked so I didn't need to put a pound in. When I went to park it there was an unhitched trolly with a coin in it so I'm a £1 up. :)

I managed to avoid being put back into casts while I was in hospital yesterday :)

Ok it's because my legs are still too swollen but even so I'm cast free so I'm happy.

Well both my clinics have been switched to our local hospital from now on as due to the financial cuts in the NHS they think its better to go to my local hospital now as that saves quite a bit of money and l am happy as l don't have to do a round trip of 460 miles in a day anymore.:)

Well that should make things a lot easier for you den. I'm pleased the financial cuts has worked in your favor as that was a lot of miles you had to make den.

Bloody good news den. Hopefully should be a help with blood pressure as well with a shorter commute to hospital.

Oh, and I might have some good news on the job front. Won't say more until Tuesday when I hear back from them. But quietly optimistic at the moment. Trying hard not to jinx myself.

There we are, conclusive proof that cuts can be good. I bet DC will be citing your situation as an fine example during the election campaign... ;)

Seriously, I know what you mean about travelling etc - we've reorganised most of Osem Jnr #2's appointments from C. London to local services now and it's much easier and cheaper. So far, the quality of care he's getting as an adult is excellent so we have no complaints about our services. Keeping fingers crossed however... :)
