If Arsenal can get Aubameyang then Walcott & Sanchez for Aubameyang & Mkhitaryan is a decent window for Arsenal too. Especially giving the state of us going into the window. Also means the job in the Summer is less severe.

Yes if Arsenal can get Aubameyang he has a very good scoring record for Dortmund and would certainly do well in the Premiership.

What worries me about Sanchez and Aubameyang for that matter is the way they let their performances suffer when possible transfers come up and don’t materialise immediately.

Contrast that with say DeGea or even Ronaldo when they missed out on transfers to Real Madrid. Granted Fergie promised CR7 he could go later but they both still played to their absolute best in every game afterwards.

Sadly Jim we are dealing with agents who use a lot of players to their own big financial ends now as they tend to turn many players heads.

Mourinho did not seem to fancy Mkhitaryan as l hardly gave him a fair run IMO.

Jose is wise enough to spot when a player is lacking that little ‘something ‘ that marks out a player who can handle the rigours of the Premiership, Sanchez is certainly one who can but I’m not sure that Mkhitaryan is or ever will be. He is knocked off the ball or dispossessed far too easily for me, Kagawa was exactly the same.

Jose treated Luke Shaw in just the same way and up to now he has shown real bottle in getting his head down and fighting to prove himself.

Talking about Jose, wasn’t he manager at Chelsea when Lukaka, Salah and De Bruyne departed :D

Swansea remain rock bottom but two 5-0 wins would get them up to tenth.

He also has a habit of freezing players out or just selling them. Kevin de Bruyne, Salah and Lukaku are all players he didn't rate and/or let go. Mata too.

I am not sure about Mkhitaryan either but Mourinho's view of players is unpredictable. I don't he has shown a particular talent for spotting which of his young players are worth keeping, or much interest in younger players at all, or for hidden gems. Sanchez is a obvious buy.

Mkhitaryan did well at Dortmund. Hopefully Arsenal get something out of him. I am not too bothered that United let him go though.

Interesting one after Newcastle secure the loan of Kenedy for the remainder of the season, they've now launched a £20m bid for a striker they won't reveal the identity of and are running with ''Less competition'' as the reason. Wagering they just can't get him over that line they keep quoting after every failed window though :erm:

Well they have to pay for it somehow. :(

I would want a suit for that money.:D

AS7

Didn't even know they had a Home/Away/Third shirt and a Home/Away/Third cup shirt.

A real bargain to be had..HERE ;)

All you need now is to make another 10 then you will have a full team of 11.:D

Re: Season 2017/2018

Newcastle reject bid for Mitrovic. Won't entertain offers that don't come close to the £15m mark. Could likely see Newcastle head for a £35m striker if Mitrovic is offloaded. As it stands though Newcastle are still in talks with a forward regarding a £20m move and it's driving the Internet crazy with its secrecy.
