No HD plans at the moment, we did get told last year thar GINX would be HD but based on what we've seen it looks like that rumour was a hoax.

Did this change take place on VM yesterday, a quick check earlier revealed nothing new in the sports section.

On Sky, the change has been delayed today.

This has now launched on Sky channel 470 and it looks like CNN HD will finally launch on Monday 27th June.

Is there any more NEW channels planned for VM. We haven't had a new channel for months - and l don't mean +1 or HD.

Its going to be rebranded as a sports themed channel, so I thought it would move to the sports genre.

What's wrong with + 1 or HD channels?
I will take what ever comes, whether it a + 1,SD or HD because there are some good HD channels missing from virgin media UK?

I think what Atrhur means is that he wants new content on some new channels.

However, he may be disappointed. Any decent new content will be provided by way of on demand, not new channels, in all likelihood.

There are still a few HD versions that we are missing. Would be nice to get them.

That article suggests that the Universal Channel is no longer available on any platform in the Czech Republic and that it was not UPC's decision. "The operator has lost Universal Channel, which is no longer available in the Czech Republic."

Why?

Horror Channel is not in the Movies Genre on Virgin Media.

Because it doesn't exclusively show movies.

All channels prefer the general entertainment genre as it gives a better EPG slot on the various platforms.
