Chance of seeing app thru TiVo slim due to sky deal but you never know, wwe need the subscribers and they see uk as there biggest fan base outside the USA.

Saw this yesterday:

Will be interesting to see how things develop in the coming months

If it worked like Netflix does on Tivo then it might be not so bad.

Wwe went downhill after the attitude era, it's spends too much time trying to attract a younger viewership.

It certainly appears to be quiet here in the last couple of days. Is it down to the sheer excitement of the potential of a heap of new channels coming between now and the end of 2014?

MB, do you know anything about discussions between VM and YourTV Manchester(Local TV), as I am from Manchester.

http://yourtvmanchester.co.uk/

No news.

I know when Virgin will move some channels - not before June but by August.

Rumours say Notts TV will launch tomorrow on Virgin Media.

Just Notts TV coming tonight.
With STV Glasgow set to launch on June 2nd.
Local TV Broadcasters Made in Bristol, Made in Leeds and Bay TV Liverpool say they will also launch on Virgin Media sometime in 2014.

Media Boy, A very good question for you. Notts Tv, STV Glasgow and all the other tv channels that are coming to VM. Will these be available for London viewers, and if not why not.

My wife is Scottish and would love to watch some Scottish news.

Local TV means just that.

STV Glasgow is only available in Glasgow areas*. You local TV Channel is London Live

It the same for Freeview viewers.

For your wife.

Reporting Scotland is broadcast on Virgin Channel 862.
With BBC Radio Scotland on Virgin Channel 930.

*If you have STV West (Glasgow, Motherwell) you will also get STV Glasgow.

Presumably Freesat and Sky viewers can just change their post code in to order to receive the local TV service linked to that post code. Obviously this can't be done on VM.

Hmm are VM able to broadcast to just specific areas?? I didnt know they could. I thought thats why we had BBC one wales, BBC one scotland, BBC one london all lumped together at the back of the EPG.

It would have been amusing to watch Notts TV for about 20 minutes...
