Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Does that mean if you set your default to new only and there is a repeat program series that you haven’t seen and would like to record. It would not record, or just would it not record a repeat of the repeat if you know what I mean.

It will only record repeats of repeats if you set it to "Everything". |
Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Thanks Spiderplant, but I think you may have misunderstood me. Will it record that instance of the repeated series if I set it to record, but not any future repeats, or will it not record at all.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 3
Whichever setting you use it will only ever record one of any given episode within 28 days; unless you set it to "Everything" in which case that's exactly what you get :)

Incidentally, mine recorded both the afternoon and early evening episodes of "Neighbours" on 5HD yesterday. Never done that before; and I didn't notice it in 'upcoming recordings' either  |

I guess its a glitch in how ITV "present" it. Set to record new only, not on any other list. Yet this particular episode has appeared 3 times that we recall. :erm::) |

Which is also why I gave the example I did; to prove the point :) Quote:

I have noticed that the Sky box turns/search the channels over a lot quicker than the tivo.
