You could get up to £200 going via one of the mobile selling websites, more via eBay etc. I know someone who sold theirs for £250.

Always difficult selling to a family member, I am in the same boat except mine is 8 gig, everything else is the same. We have agreed a price, my reasons for getting shot, as much as I like the iphone, the limits on what I can install and where and when have finally done my head in.

Has anyone got the WiFi working on these phones yet lol.

Sorry, its a small gripe.. but I have an iPhone and iTouch. Both devices obtain a 169 ip automatically. Forgetting the network and turning WiFi off dosnt help.

I got it working by giving them static IP's and entering the DNS and router settings. Shouldnt really have to do that to be fair. I can get my laptop, wii, psp, ds and sony ericsson on line with no problem, but these apple devices are just a pain in the rear lol.

that all said.. its a brilliant phone and im still getting used to my purchase :)

Mine too, never had a problem. Picks them up when I request them and remembers when I return :tu:

Wifi on the iPhone - is "unstable" constant dropping blah blah..

Never had problems with the stability either. Apart from at work, but we work in an old building with walls that are in places 4 feet thick. All devices that use radio (be they WiFi or whatever) have trouble obtaining a reliable signal.

I am sure, it's not the iPhone though, it seems to be at Key minutes, you're just about to login to facebook and then the wifi drops..

Indeed, I've also never had a problem with my touch or my iphone 2 / 3g on wifi. Not just on my home network but when I'm out and about.

I agree with Thomas, Stuart, and sb - my iPhone 3G remembers previously connected wifi networks, and links to them automatically (both here and abroad).

My 2G has some issues on My own Wi-Fi connection at home - but thats only due to where the ariel is pointing etc (my setup issues) rather than the phone itself, other Wifi networks work and are remembered correctly all of the time.

Sorry to go off on a tangent here - but do we pay for the web abroad?

Well in that case I'm afraid I won't be using mine abroad (unless its an emergency)

Unless of course you're on a public wireless Internet access point with no charges for use.
