He does have a point, I mean what was wrong with that ref, giving a penalty against Man U at home, he should be struck of the refs list until all the other refs promise not to do it again

Yawn it happens to every team once in a while the difference is the manager has a little rant on MotD and thats that, not him though, being bigger than the game he has to call the ref a cheat and demand an enquiry into it, thus making all future refs question their decisions before giving anything against his team for fear of the backlash, the man is a bad loser and his comments a disgrace

Ronaldo has matured a lot in recent years, yes he dives but no more than any other continental player in the Premiership.

Yesterday Portsmouth should have jobbed to us at least. Yes it'll be good for them to get to the final but for the sake of British football, which FA Cup final will have the biggest audience, one with Man Utd or Portsmouth?

I think that attitude says a lot. Believe it or not some people like football for the game, not because Man Utd. I guarantee if Portsmouth are in the final there won't be hundreds of empty seats. I support Spurs, but will quite happily watch 2 neutral teams play. I'd rather watch two teams have the chance to compete for the FA cup, than have Man Utd - Arsenal every single year.

Going back to the league, the fact that the same old teams keep on winning is damaging for football. The only team outside the big 3 to have won the premier league was Blackburn, once, in 15 years. And even that was 13 years ago. That is what is damaging English football, not that Portsmouth have the temerity to try and beat you in the FA cup.

He didn't question the penalty given against us at all, did you actually read what he said or jumped to conclusions?

I agree with what he said - that players like Ronaldo get no protection from the referee, referees seem to think its okay to kick players off the pitch it seems and if it continues theres going to be lots more bad injuries in the game like Eduardos. But i don't agree with the way he said it and imo he should get punished for it, he shouldn't come out saying the referees basically a cheat no matter how angry he is. Yes i was angry at how Ronaldo was being constantly fouled and that there was a stone wall penalty not given but his comments should have been kept private imo.

As much as I'll be cheering on the Welsh side, I hope Barnsley go all the way and win. Then we'll truly have the first magical FA Cup story in many many years. I can't remember such a lowly side beating 2 international teams (one on their home turf) and getting to the final.

And if they go on to lift the cup then 2008 will be the greatest final EVER.

They have a Welsh manager Russ, I'd rather Cardiff win through, then get stuffed by Harry's Portsmouth

Champions League quarter-final draw:
Arsenal v Liverpool
AS Roma v Man Utd
Schalke 04 v FC Barcelona
Fenerbahce v Chelsea

Champions League semi-final draw:
Arsenal/Liverpool v Fenerbahce/Chelsea
Schalke/Barcelona v AS Roma/Man Utd

I'm very happy wth that :D :D
