The organization has agreed a three-year deal with broadcaster Premier Sports that will see every single game shown on Premier Sports, with selected matches and highlights available Free-to-Air (FTA) on Freesports.

The agreement comes into effect this weekend and the new partners promise to launch a 24-hour channel for the competition by January 2020. Alongside live matches, LaLiga TV will show magazine and highlights programs for the British market.
Lessons obviously have not been learnt it seems...

Well each individual has to make up their own mind as to whether they want to subscribe to it but you can bet your bottom dollar that apart from loyal diehards there won't be many takers.

Also more information here.

It has also revealed the launch of LaLigaTV; a dedicated 24/7 channel in the UK and Ireland for LaLiga coverage.

LaLigaTV will show all live games and new weekly shows LaLiga World, VIVA LaLiga and The LaLiga Show.

FreeSports is part of Premier Sports though, and they have already said on Twitter they will be showing La Liga matches.

Yes l did know there is one match live on FreeSports each week but for many the disappointment is the failure of somebody like ITV4 not to snap it up where it is available to a much greater audience for free.

What are the chance of Premier Sports being added to VM full House /XL pack now?

I know they have been wanted to for years and now maybe they have enough content to tempt VM

Or add it to the Sport Lite Personal Picks pack...which is, appropriately, rather Lite on content, having only 4 channels, I'm not counting HD duplications. £7 for 4 channels! Not exactly attractive.

Well Sky are set to copy Virgin Media soon https://www.skygroup.sky/corporate/m...of-tv-channels

So Virgin may think out the park and add Premier Sports to the XL Pack anyway unless Virgin sign an new deal with Premier Sports we will not get that new LaLigaTV channel.
