Utterly unreasonable. There's something in the Geneva convention about it , I'm sure.

No, the alcohol/anaesthetic mixture just helps make it a cheap night out.

The tooth (or gap where the tooth was) isnt actually painful.

Apparently alcohol can irritate the gum as its healing leading to "inflammation and increasing the risk of infection.".

I would not be having any until Saturday anyway, so not really an issue.

Pray to God you don't have any wisdom teeth removed!
I had 3 removed some time ago, all lying below the gum level, general anesthetic and ended up with alook like a hamster with a full mouth!

Had 4 out at once in a dentist under general back in the late 90s. Woke up with my trousers undone and been carried into the waiting room . Apparently I had trouble breathing under general. All I could think when I woke up and for a few days later was Ouch as they had proper stretched out my jaw

Ive always use a tempered glass screen protector on my last 2 phones, how did you manage to scratch it with a protector on?

There's no screen protector. I was meaning to take the phone and gel protector into town to one of the hundred phone shops but it wasn't obviously a priority of mine

I got the device second hand with outer edge scratches but the screen was well looked after. I'm gutted :(
