Talking of Sky Sports, some people have reported that, since the 360 update, they are receiving this, despite not subscribing to it :erm:

Re: Virgin TV (2026)
Virgins plan is that by the end of 2027 all of their TV customers will be using the 360 software.
A massive part of this push will be that from the 27th of this month anyone putting through a change to their package will be informed that the 360 upgrade is now a requirement. Today might be a good time for anyone not looking to do the software upgrade to be reviewing their bundles. |

There was a very reasonable renewal offer in their online account, so they've re-contracted today. I know these online offers got some bad press in the past, but there was less than £1 between their current & offer price - so price-certainty for 24months is a good outcome. Our 24months is up in early 2028, I can probably suck-up TV360 sometime by then.... |

On the whole TV360 vs V6 point, I still can't help but think something's wrong when a new product has to be forced/encouraged (use whichever word you prefer) rather than selling itself. This isn't a VM-specific thing though, Microsoft have the same issue with Windows 10 vs Windows 11. |

It basically says the V6 will soon be unsupported and will eventually lose some features/functionality. |
