Thanks, Spiderplant. I was hoping I could create and name my own folders - it would be good to separate the recordings for my wife, for me, for both of us and the kids. Things would be so much easier to find!

Ah, well, another day maybe!

Update again (Also from Rumour poster 2):

An Rumour poster has now updated me to say Sky Atlantic will only be on the XL Package plus Sky Atlantic HD will not launch.

Unfortunately, some rumours are being created maliciously.

I think the most likely thing to happen is that all the missing Sky channels will launch together.

Another interesting development today is the Canadian Government will soon require TV providers in the country to offer viewers the ability to pick and choose channels rather than being forced to take bundles of channels.

As long as you have a choice between paying for specific channels and paying for bundles. You tend to pay more when paying for channels individually.

Same here in WM, no message. Maybe its just more areas being added to the trial and that how they will conduct the full roll out, maybe a few areas once a week

off topic i know but i started being a survey "insider" back when virgin1 launched and still do them even tho sky took over the virgin channels. The last one i have just done seems to be based around the tech and apps i use (yes it is known to them i am a virginmedia customer) included in the list are twitter, facebook, pinterest, LOVEFILM, NEXTFLIX, nowtv. Are they looking to launch any or just seeing what the competition are going to offer do we think?

Look like some areas only will be updated tonight.

spiderplant did post today on Cable Forum: 'Netflix won't roll out to everyone on a single day. It will take a few weeks.'

Further to my earlier post about this subject, whilst it seems like a good idea on the face of it to only pay for the channels that you want, I believe that the net result will be less choice, fewer niche channels, reduced funding for programmea and/or higher prices.
